Los sindicatos debaten en Lima sobre el cambio climático y la movilidad sostenible

Son varios los eventos que lo sindicatos realizan en torno a la 20ª Conferencia de las Partes de la Convención Marco de Naciones Unidas (COP20) de Cambio Climático que se está desarrollando en Lima (Perú) desde el 1 al 12 de diciembre. Este lunes 8 de diciembre, la ITF ha organizado un seminario para jóvenes sindicalistas del sector del transporte de Latinoamérica.

Doing something about it is not all about sacrifice. Building a clean energy economy and making our communities and infrastructure more resilient give us the opportunity to rebuild our economy. As rising temperatures have attacked our environment, our economy has lost good jobs and replaced them with poverty jobs. The two problems are connected – each stemming from policies that put profit ahead of people – and the solution is the same.
