The International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF) is an international federation of transport workers’ trade unions.

Around 700 unions representing over 4.5 million transport workers from some 150 countries are members of the ITF. It is one of several Global Federation Unions allied with the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC).

The ITF is tackling climate change as one of the ways to improve workers’ lives.

Transport is a significant and growing source of global carbon emissions. Transport unions can play an important role in tackling this problem, and it’s vital we work together to cut emissions and prevent climate change.

The ITF is committed to supporting and coordinating trade union initiatives on climate change.
