Climate change 2014: impacts, adaptation, and vulnerability

The IPCC’s latest report on the impacts of climate change has been described as the most comprehensive to date. These impacts include a high risk of flooding, sea-level rise, changes to crop yields, water availability and reduction of fisheries.

The report finds that while most national governments have developed some plans for adaption to climate change implementation remains piecemeal and limited.

The third report from this series (the fifth assessment report), which will focus on ways to reduce emissions will be published in April.
