How many hours does it take to get to Paris from Gothenburg by public transport?
Ulf Jarnefjord from ITF-affiliate the Swedish Transport Workers’ Union has been finding out as he heads for COP21.
7pm Tuesday Boarding the boat from Gothenburg, Sweden
10am Wednesday 14 hours later and we’ve made it to Kiel, Germany.
11am Wednesday Onto the train at Kiel, Germany.
5pm Wednesday Change trains in Frankfurt, Germany.
9pm Wednesday Arrive in Paris, France!
Made it to COP21 in time to rest up for the ITF event tomorrow on building our strategy for a model of public transport that promotes climate justice and also creates jobs and equality in our societies. See you there!
